Foreign BY JULIE JAMESON Staff Writer At USC, foreign language clubs, although not extremely popular, are thriving. Greg Gangi, the president of Der Deutch Klub, which concentrates on German culture, said, "it's a ^ social organization. We get w together for different events fr\T? fun 1U1 11411. Recently, the Der Deutch Klub sponsored the Oktoberfest. "We had about 400 people present. We had plenty of beer and other aspects of German culture," uangi said. No dues are required of members. "We usually have ''coffee clatches ? new ^ members are encouraged to W come to these. Both students and professors are present, and we speak German." The Pittsburgh Balle Theatre will perforn "Giselle" March 4 ii Carolina Coliseum. "Giselle" is a two-ac ballet with music by Adolp! Adams. It features 1 dancers. The South Carolin Chamber Orchestra wil provide musical ac companiment. The Pittsburgh Balk 0 Theatre is a classical ballc company with a repertoir which includes full-lengt classics as well as cor temporary ballets.
