Budget C BY SUSAN MUIR SUff Writer Students expecting to receive financial aid for summer school or fall semester shouldn't hold their breath. There may not be enough money left from this fiscal year's budget, which runs from last July 1 through June 30, 1982, to supply students with aid. But if there is money available it will go only to students attending summer school to graduate this August. - j ^ ?ipg ^' ":t";: j::;,; j|jj I -33-^---r^ ' ': JH BMI ^ ; Coach Terry Kellj celebrate the Lad> overtime victory over _ Fast, J New Hot I ONE COUPON PEI $6.50 For Any I ( Item Pizza and 4 Fast, Free Delive 256-0301 Expires: 2-10-s uts Hurt St As for aid going toward next semester, John Bannister of the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships advises students to file applications as soon as possible since the office is operating on a first come, . first served basis. Last year the office didn't know until July how much money they had to give out, creating inconvenience for students anticipating aid. Bannister said he should know how much money they'll have to work with by May. Now 9,502 students receive $17,767,869 in aid and 900 students are on scholarships. The university may award 100 new scholarships for next school year. Since funds are limited, the scholarship office will contact students qualifying for the aid. Financial aid applications are available in the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships. Applications for summer school aid must be turned in by April 15.
