Crazy 1 By ALISON SAUSSY S(idWH>w 4'This particular location has been in the backs of our minds ever since we graduated," says Todd Baker, co-manager of the new Crazy Zack's which will open tonight on South Main St. (the site of the old Union Train Station). The train station was chosen for the site of the Crazy Zack's nightspot because "it's beautiful, it's a national landmark, and it's next to campus," enabling students to walk to it, said Baker. The franchise club, "probably the number one beach club in the South," according to Baker, will have two sections. One section will play beach music and the other will play f %mI8bw% ?B ||| i Sports television, lik< have given ABC a heat nai? * "* -TKp] Ch7B with ch< walnuts, whipped I C U Gameroom %mmamamamwmm B ^>ii ' f I mustard ai I $ J Gameroom: j i Opent i * ? The funk section also features a 50-foot bar. Besides the two sections, Crazy Zack's will also have a game room. "We're going to have pool tables, pinball, and audio-video games,"' said Baker. "And there's a deck outside," he said. The deck will be open during warm weather. CRAZY ZACK'S wants to attract "college people," according to Baker. "We cater to the college crowd," he said. Crazy Zack's will employ about 30 people when it opens; "mainly students," Baker said. They will be bartenders, cashiers, and doormen. The bartenders will be mostly girls? "Zack's trademark," said Baker. The train station, 79 years old and three stories high, will not only be a bar, however. The top story will be Zack's 21 club, and the basement will be a resturant called Union Station. These will open sometime late this year.
