EditorialMi lit, Will President Reagan's tax cut plan is gaining momentum in Congress, and it now seems likely that the plan stands a good chance of being approved. A tax cut is something all American's could certainly use, but there is a major flaw in Reagan's program. In order to cut down the revenue that t.h* oAwopn. ment will be receiving through taxation, cuts in spending will also have to be made; and the President is asking for cuts in all the wrong places. WHEN WE SPEAK of such a large military buildup, we are dealing with one and a half trillion dollars to be spent by the Pentagon in the next five years. That is an awful lot of money to be spent on devising ways to kill people. THe question here is; can Reagan spend this kind of money on the armed forces, and still hope to balance the budget?
