"COACH (DONNIE) WALSH called me from Denver after all the negotiations were over and told me of the news. I was elated," Hordges commented. "He told me he needed another power forward and I was one of five power forwards selected in the draft. It's going to be a real learning experience my first year, but I'm ready for it."
