Both the Detoxification Center and Rivendell provide 24hour residential care. Community Residence is a halfway house for 20 male alcoholics. In addition to housing and meals, the facility provides services considered necessary to assist residents in their efforts to return to independent lifestyles. Methadone Maintenance is provided in coordination I with the Richland County Health j Department for people who are addicted to heroin or other morphine-like drugs and who cannot succeed in drug-free treatment centers. The Methadone Maintenance Clinic provides physical examinations, laboratory studies and daily supervised methadone maintenance or detoxification.
