"I've been here four years and have wanted to make one since I've been here," he said. The schedule this year for football games is more favorable for the band than in past years, Copenhaver said. The band had two recording dates set up this week since there wasn't a football game, he added. THK BANI) hopes to have the album out in late December or early January, according to Copenhaver. Recording took place in the Carolina Coliseum, Copenhaver said. "We wanted the full band sound." Recording the album outside would present some problems such as the wind and acoustics,\ he said. The Coliseum would be good acousticly, he said. Mastering and dubbing of the album will be done by John Ballou. a graduate student at Instructional Services, Copenhaver said. The broadcast will research the tragic shooting that occurred in the Bates West social hall Oct. 6.
