Breaking and ente By BRIAN TURNER Gamecock Staff Writer Two incidents of breaking and entering at Sims (women's dormitory were reported to Campus Police the week of April 16 according to Sims' Resident Advisor Karen Hojnacki. The first report came on April 18, when a first floor resident reported waking up around 4 a.m. to find a man standing by her bed. The resident told him he should leave, which he did, Hojnacki said. However, the man discovered on April 18 reportedly told the girl who eascorted him out that he had entered the building through the front door and walked down the hall, finding her room unlocked. George Key, director of public safety and security on campus, confirmed that the security guard on duty during both incidents had been released from the staff. "He wasn't doing his duty, so he was released, uis nothing but a personnel problem," Key said. "Security is tighter in Sims now," she continued.
