Bruce Marshall, chairman of the Faculty Advisory Committee. If adopted, the first amendment would permit USC colleges, schools and departments to "elect from its faculty D a committee on Scholastic Standing to oversee the academic progress of students within its degree programs." Also, the committee has the authority to create specific regulations concerning entrance requirements, determining the "good standing" in individual programs, controlling attendance and limiting enrollment.
