USC Ad Administrative changes at USC were announced by President Thomas F. Jones and President Designate and Provost William H. Patterson. Dr. Keith E. Davis, associate provost at USC since last year, will act as provost, the University's top academic officer, through June while Patterson is on a study trip abroad. Named vice provost for ad ministrative services and registrar is Dr. Nicholas P. Mit chell, a Carolina administrator since 1956.
