Saturday for a triangular indoor meet with North Carolina and Clemson. The Gamecocks claimed five first place finishes at Montgomery as over 700 entries from 40 schools participated in the Southeastern spectacle. Gymnastics Coach Helen Timmermans takes her Carolina women's gymnastics team to Chapel Hill, N.C., Satur day for a tri-meet with North Carolina and Western Carolina. The Carolina gymnists have a 3-1 record after defeating East Carolina but losing to Florida Friday night at the Physical Education Center. Florida scored 78.10 points to 60.68 for Carolina and 53.94 for East Carolina. .Jean Fioramonti and Lynn Daley took second and third, respec tively, in vaulting for Carolina and Fioramonti took third in balance beam. A halftime feature was an exhibition by Florida coach Sandy Phillips on the beam and floor exercise.
