If they overplay Mike etin I or someone underneath is open." Winters feels this year's team is better than last year's. "We are playing together better because we know each others' moves. We know where each other is going to be." Intramural Season Star The intramural basketball season tips off next week with ten games scheduled to be played Monday in the P.E. Center. In all, 57 teams will participate in the intramural basketball program's four divisions. The fraternity and Gamecock divisions have 17 teams each. Eight games will be played on Sundays, beginning at 4:30 p.m. md concluding with 9 p.m. games. %onday through Thursday games will start at 4:30 p.m. with the last games ending over by 10 p.m. Each team will play ten games iuring the season. Volleyball Team Third In Tourney Carolina's women's volleyball team finished third in state competition in a tournament held in December and won by Winthrop. Coach Violet Meade said that tne eam's 9-6 record for the season was very impressive, considering he team's high quality com )etition. Winthrop won the tour iament. Try-outs for next year's team vill be held in late March. Meade vould like all interested girls to ontact her in the P.E. Center.
