The Un iversity has implemented,with a federal grant, the Dial-A-Job telephone employment service which lists all classified jobs available on campus complete with qualifications and starting salaries. University employees are encouraged to utilize the service to upgrade their positions. Federal studies of the University's academic salary scale and of the student admittance policy have been favorable. The U.S. Department of Labor in May said that USC was "in no violation" of equal pay for faculty. The regional Office for Civil Rights, U.S. Department of Health, Education, and Welfare in a July 10 final report commended the University for assuring women and minority students of equal educational opportunities. ay Given tie Beach look like everyone else.
