Senate sets dates for student election The dates were set for the spring elections at the student senate meeting Wednesday night. The elections will be held on March 12 with the first run-off coming on March 14. The filing dates for candidates will be Feb. 27 and 28, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a $1 filing fee for all candidates and the student must have present his student I.D. and a valid treasurers fee receipt. An elections review board to have jurisdiction over all events concerning the elections was established. The board "will set up hearings for all petitions brought forward and will issue a written decision within 24 hours after hearing an appeal." The bill to establish a Consumer Relations Buruea, introduced to the senate last week, was brought forward again this week and was passed by acclamation. A bill to increase the representation of the three married students complexes was recalled and after discussion was sent back to committee for further study.
