WEAL, a national organization incorporated in 1968, promotes greater economic progress for women. Dealing mainly with sex discrimination in employment, WEAL works to combat by all )Tape 499 R eaord rice 378 * MON.-SAl. 10 a.m. group pla lawful means discrimination in pay and promotional policies of public and private employers. The organization also works to find solutions to educational and tax problems affecting women. Since its formation, WEAL has filed more than 300 suits against major colleges and universities in the country and is now beginning to file complaints of sex News Volunteer, clothes for Old clothes are needed by the Office of Volunteer Services for donations to new parolees from correctional institutions. Any kind of clothing, mostly in size 32 waist for men and in varying sizes for women, can be used. The clothing will be donated through the Alston Wilkes Society. Students with clothes to donate are asked to call the Office of Volunteer Services (777-3171) or bring them to the office (Room 210 of the Pendleton Building). BOYS Workshop Theatre will hold auditions for its production of "Boys in the Band," from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27. Nine men will be needed for the production. Production dates have been set from April 19 through 29. Bri s collect parolees CAROLINA BALLET The Carolina Ballet Company will hold auditions for membership tomorrow, Feb. 26, at 2 p.m. at the Foster Dance Studio on Trenholm Rd. The auditions are open to everyone and male dancers are especially encouraged to attend. Men who are interested in dancing, but who lack training are welcome. They will be taught gratis. Dancers may show point work or not as they choose. Carl Crosby, director and founder of the Aiken Ballet Company, Brenda Stevenson Powell, director of the St. Andrews School of Dance, Jessie Morris, director of the Carolina Ballet Co. and Josie Rudolf, will judge. Members of the Company will take part in the spring per formance, "Spring Gala-'72" and subsequent performances.
