The meeting was called to select teams to campaign for McGovern in the Richland County wards. Two captains will be assigned to each ward to go door-to-door, canvasssing supporters to attend the Democratic precinct meetings. Dan Todd, chairman of the organizational meeting, said 15 people are needed from each precinct as representatives at the South Carolina convention in Myrtle Beach. Sponsored by the USC Biology Department and open to the public, the seminars run through April 26 and will be held from 12:05 - 1 p.m. every Wednesday in Room 101, Coker Life Science Building. The seminars, according to USC biology Prof. H. R. Chen, will deal with basic research problems related to cancer as well as with problems of cancer research itself.
