The meeting was called to select

in the Richland County wards.
Two captains will be assigned to
each ward to go door-to-door,

Seminar to
on cancer
A series of 12 developmental
biology seminars on topics relating
to cancer research opens today at
USC.
Sponsored by the USC Biology
Department and open to the public,
the seminars run through April 26
and will be held from 12:05 - 1 p.m.
every Wednesday in Room 101,
Coker Life Science Building.
The seminars, according to USC
biology Prof. H. R. Chen, will deal
with basic research problems
related to cancer as well as with
problems of cancer research itself.
At each seminar, Dr. Chen said,

The teams should be into the
neighborhoods by Saturday, since
they only have until the last week
of February when the precinct
meetings will be held, Crangle
said.
Fifteen wards have captains
already but the organization wants
to reach 33, Todd said.
Todd said that eight to ten
professors have agreed to help
with the campaign. "Professors
are more receptive to McGovern,"
he said.
