Sports Editor Sigma Nu's drive to the Super Bowl title climaxed the flag football season and was the focal point of the fall semester in In tramural sports. Sigma Nu upset favored Pi Kappa Alpha in the playoffs semifinals and then turned the trick again over Phi Delta Theta in the Fraternity championship game. In Independant action,La Borde beat Married Students and Maxcy halted a three game Moore win streak. LaBorde then disposed of Maxcy. In the Super Bowl Sigma Nu rode the pin-point passing of Lytle Pressley to a 12-7 come-from behind win. In the annual All-Star clash the Frats dominated the game and came away with a 19-6 win. Pi Kappa Alpha outlasted Maxcy for the next campus crown, this one in Volleyball. The PiKa's also got a share of the swimming title, finishing in a tie with Phi Kappa Sigma. Maxcy claimed the Independent honor. Bobby Heald won the Frat badminton title for the secund straight year. Dave Martin was the Independent winner. In doubles Bob Kleinknecht and Ron Zimmel were Independent champs and Pete Fuge and Bill Austin won for the Frats. The Horseshoe and Sigma Phi Epsilon won their rei6tNW bowling crowns and Mark Brown won the Independent table tennis title while Howard Shefman claimed the Frat title. Most of the scoring duties for the Tigers rest on the shoulders of senior guard Butch Zatezalo, who became the all-time Clemson scorer Wednesday night against the Blue Devils. Zatezalo is averaging 21 4 points per game and sc6red 19 in his first meeting with the Gamecocks, 15 coming in the second half. In the backcourt with Zatezalo is playmaker Dave Thomas, 6-1 junior from Warren, Ohio. He is averaging better than 13 points per outing, but managed only four against USC at Clemson. Greg Latin, 6-7 sophomore, is Clemson's center and tallest man. He boasts a 14.4 average and the Glas:.port, Pa. native scored nine against Carolina Jan. 26.
