Wentz stressed that these systems have been worked out from the past use of each cafeteria on weekends. Each system is designed to utilize the dining facilities with greatest efficiency. Bates House will have a few extra features. There will be almost continuous food service from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. In addition to this, Monday through Thursday nights snacks will be available from 10 to 11 p.m. But this night snack will only be given to Bates House residents. Other meals in Bates House are open to any student. Wentz added that a vending machine operation is being con sidered in Russell House. Such an operation would help relieve congestion during rush periods. The operation would contain hot and cold food machines and a micro-wave oven. The administration is reviewing this idea now and is, according to lowntown Wentz, discussing the type of ichland Mall machines needed, trying to discover student opinion on this idea, and to decide when such an operation should be opened. rduroy bed rners. 6 deep vash.
