Up till now the Gamecocks have been hurt by brute force of big running backs, but tomori they will be facing what is perhaps the best pass team in the nation, offensively and defensively. Coach Bill Peterson has always been a student the pro-type passing offense. In Ron Sellers he h the best receiver in collegiate ball today. Sellers is sixth on the all-time NCAA receiv list with 150 passes good for 2,400 yards. The Seminoles haven't shown too much of a r ning game, but that is because they haven't had resort to it. Sellers has already caught 27 pas this year for an even 500 yards and four TD's. "Jingle Joints," as Sellers is called, gained OV half that yardage on 13 receptions against Mempi State last week, a team which excels in pass defens State has a "real big, good-sized, experien front line" to protect quarterback Bill Capplem according to Coach Johnny Menger of the U staff. Their two best running backs are Bill Gunter senior, and soph Tom Bailey who has been able pick up the tough yardage. When two or three defensive 'backs have be hanging on Sellers, Cappleman has elected to thr to Billy Cox or Chip Glass. Defensively, the Seminoles are led by linebac Dale McCullers, a 6'1", 207 pound senior.
