IDooley's Dogs had always been a powerful team on defense and in running the football, and for the past two years they possessed one of the top kicking games in the nation. Georgia's performance against Clemson, however, showed that the Bulldogs would be even more po. tent in their g a m e against the Gamecocks as their power football was supplemented by a highly com petent passing a t t a c k featuring touted soph passer .lMike Cavan and the 9.1 sprinter-halfback Kent Lawrence.
