Staff Writer After Paul Dietzel and his staff had been at Carolina for a while it was apparent that many improve ments had been enacted in the Uni versity's athletic program. The g r e a t e s t, most far-reaching change in the Gamecocks' athletic pro gram, however, has been in the re cruitment of talentedl athletes. Caro lina had always been able to enroll some of the area's top scholastic pros pects, but it never got its full share.
