Policy Carolina's nine regional cam puses have been given appreciably greater autonomy, P r e s i d e n t Thomas F. Jones said recently. The changes, based on recent policy actions of the B o a r d of Trustees, placed wider authority for administering the r e g i o n a 1 campuses in the hands of their resident directors and placed the t o t a 1 University system directly under the p r e s i d e n t's office, SNEA Sponsors Drop - In The entire Russell House has been reserved for a drop-in spon sored by the Student National Ed ucation Association. The event, scheduled for Wed nesday from -1 to 6:30 p.m., is open to all students. SNEA is planning the drop-in in order to acquaint freshmen as w e 1 1 as upperclassmen in the School of Education with their ad visors, dean and fellow students. Jones, faculty committees to aid in the function and develop ment of their campuses. In gen eral, the committees will be coun terparts of others on the main campus.
