Top Frateri Whip Indepf By BUNNY LANGSTON Staff Writer The University's "Super Bowl" football game took place on the intramural fields before a spare crowd in chilling weather last Fri day with the Fraternity All-Stars winning 12-6. This game pitted the biggest, fastest and best players from fra ternity and independent teams. In the first quarter, the defenses of both squads proved superior to the offenses, as both teams ex changed the ball on intercepted passes. The independent offense caught the tempo in the second quarter, as quarterback Bobby Meixner pitched a flat pass to halfback Weldon Bond, who traveled the final 20 yards for the score. The PAT failed as a Meixner pass was knocked down by line hacker llenry Bivens. Fraternity offense was quick to equal the score as Tomminny Player took a pitch-out from Dick Lester and outran the defensive second ary to a sixty-yard touchdown. A Lester pass for the PAT was in tercepted. The half ended in a -0 deadlock. Roger Sweren, also of USC, placed fourth in the 1-metre and fifth in the 3-metre com petition. Laughlin had 366.30 points on the 1-metre board and 424.35 points on the 3-metre.
