Music will be furnished by the Catalinas of Charlotte, N. C. The officers for the past year will be honored. They include Martha Adams, president; Martha Kay Montgomery, vice president; Joanne Easterlin, secretary; Lou isa Dodkin, treasurer; Leroy Eb ert, editor; Pam Able, rush chair man; and Harriet Harter, assist ant rush chairman. New officers wvill be presented. They are Joanne Easterlin, presi dent; Louisa Dodkin, vice presi dent; Jackie Hlicks, secretary, Janet LaBlorde, treasurer; Lady Nicholson, assistant treasurer; Le-' roy Ebert, editor; Harriet Harter, rush chairman; and Ellen Boat wright, assistant rush chairman. The chapter functioned until the State Legislature passed a law banning all national 'social fraternities from the state-supported institu tion. Along with other groups, SAE retreated to a subrosa status off campus. In 1921 the continued existence of the Greeks was brought to the attention of the University Board of Trustees. Na tional fraternity officers were forced to withdraw each chapter's charter, and fraternities at USC became non-existent. The disbanded SAE chapter formed the "Bat Club." "WUS offers an opportunity tc both students and faculty to hel educate students in underde veloped and needy countries, through their donations," she con tinued. The international student serv ice club began as a European re lief organization in 1919. The present day WUS aims at improv ing student health, providing food, lodging, educational facili ties and emergency aid to improve foreign education. Money obtained from the Caro lina WUS drive which will be launched March 21 will be used te construct a book store for Chinese University in Hong Kong.
