Spiritc Noe 's Boys Show Heart Losing 92-8 7 S o u t h Carolina's basketball Gamecocks started in where they left off last season putting on one of the finest group efforts seen since the Civil War before bowing to a strong UNC team 92-87 last Monday night at Chapel Hill, N. C. Jimmy Collins led the scoring with 29 points as he out - per formed All-ACC candidate Billy Cunningham who hit 25 points. Collins hit many of his shots from the outside and on driving layups. The proficiency of Dean Smith's Tar Heels was evident from the opening tip-off as they jumped into a 10-4 lead after two min utes of play.
