The selection of classical music Dead Fish, Mosquitoes Disappear By PRECIOUS ZURLO Feature Staff Writer Strange things have been hap pening in the Life Science building. To begin with, about three weeks ago the building became infested with mosquitoes. Since they were not bred in any of the laboratories or anywhere else on campus, no one knows where they came from. For two weeks the insects re mained in the building and bit stu dents and professors alike. Now they have all disappeared and biology and pharmacy students can go to class without spraying them selves with insect repellent first. S h o r t 1 y after the mosquitoes vanished 24 partly - cut-up mud puppies disappeared also. T h e y were used by one of the anatomy labs and were valued at about $66. For a day or so it was a mystery as to just where they went or who w o u 1 d want the partially disected amphibians which reeked of formaldehyde. Then it was dis covered that they were put aside as garbage by mistake and con sequently thrown away. Fortunately, or unfortunately - depending on whose viewpoint is taken - there wvere enough extra mnudpuppies so that the anatomy elass could continue its laboratory ex pe ri men ta tion.
