Sigm* Pam Hendricks ChiPsiFG To Be Jeanne Elliott Alpha Beta of Chi Psi will hold its annual Birthday Banquet and Medallion Ball Saturday Night, May 4, at the Hotel Jefferson. The banquet will commemorate the 122nd anniversary of the founding of Chi Psi at Union College, Schen ectady, N. Y. Alpha Beta of Chi Psi was first established on the Carolina campus in 1958. It was removed due to anti-fraternity regulations and was re-established in 1956. The Medallion Ball will honor the new Maid of Chi Psi, who will be announced at the Ball. Music for the evening will be furnished by the Majesties. Officers of the fratern ity are: Bob Faucette, President; Charles H a t c h , Vice - President; Chet Allen, Secretary; Henry Hem bel, Treasurer; Gene Allen, Social Chairman; Bob Plunkett, Rush Chairman. Big Novel The C A man who has spent eleven ears on campuses and made a iobby of reading fiction about col ege and university life says he has iever found a novel that gave "the >ig picture," on all levels, of a big ampus.
