Honors The University of South Caro lina held its annual intramural banquet at 6:30 Tuesday night at Russell House. Dode Phillips, for merly an outstanding athlete at Erskine College, was introduced as the guest speaker. After sonic 30 or more boys (two from each fraternity and indepen dent zone) and several guests, Dode Phillips, Dean Tomlin, Marian Dantzler, comptroller at Carolina, and Holbrook Platts student intra mural director, had finished a hearty supper, Weems Baskin, director of intramurals at Carolina, began the program. He said that he was very happy to see nearly 3,000 individuals participate in the intramural pro gram. "There was only one minor problem-eligibility," he stated. Osce Self, president of the Caro lina student body for 1962-63 year, presented the trophies to the win- it ners of each event.
