It is being used for all styles and is modeled in many colors. Lavendar is a popular color along with yellow, pink, and all shades of pastels. The predominating theme of many show collections is the well shaped look. This is achieved through Empire effects, panels, back-blouses, strategic placement of bows, side-draping and balanced detailing. Wide bands of fabric, crushed, or wrapped around, call attention to the waistline. The all-around pleated skirt appears in suits and costumes of chiffon or wool or jersey. The pleating begins at the waistline or just below. For cocktails and 'evening, satin, chif fon, velvet, peaugrain, gros de Londres and Italian silk are favored. The figure-molded hipbone length jacket combines with slim skirts which are occasionally eased Iwith slim paneled treatment. FLUTTERING CHIFFON ..
