The three - credit advertising course deals with a study of the principles and techniques of adver tising as well as the various media and their place in the advertising needs of business outlets. Atten tion is given to the physical nature and content of the advertisement. The class will be held Tuesday and Friday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 p. m. beginning Feb. 7. In the field of secretarial science, the Office Machines course will cover the operation of the principal adding and calculating machines used in modern accounting and of fice work. Classes will meet Tuesday and Friday evenings from 6:30 to 8 p. m. Since all of the work cannot be completed in class, the re mainder will be done at the con venience of the student. Office Machines is a three-credit course. On January 11 Co-Ed Associa tion elected new officers for the spring semester. They are: Bozie Westbury, president; Jane Ed munds, vice - president; Carol Shockey, secretary and treasurer; Carolyn Woodard, reporter; and Marcia Wiseheart, chaplain. Next, any student not passing nine hours, the minimum number of hours so published in the cata log, cannot enroll until he is re instated by the Committee on Scholastic Standing and Petitions. Enrollment materials for the student on the ineligible list will not be distributed in Barnwell College but will be given him through the registrar's office when he is cleared or reinstated. The in eligible list is compiled by the Ma chine Record Service immediately after examinations each semester.
