The topic was decided upon by the three panel members when they met at the School of Education last Thursday. Dr. E. R. Crow, chairman of the State Education Finance Gom mittee; Dr. Rudman, professor at the University School of Educa tion; and Mr. Joseph McCracken, former president of the South Carolina School Administrators Association and present superin tendent of Spartanburg Schools, are the three panel members who will conduct the discussion. Harry Chapman of Greenville, president of the Clariosophic Literary Society, said that the idea . for such a panel was prompted by recent articles in a national magazine which implied that the public education stan dards of South Carolina were among the lowest in the country. The reason for this panel Chap man stated was to authoritatively answer the criticisms and rumors which are circulating today about Public Education. The meeting will be open to the public and is to be held in the Law School Auditorium at 7 p.m. Clemson To Dance At Homecoming Clemson College announces that it will sponsor a Homecoming Dance, featuring Ralph Marterie's Band.
