LETTERS (Continued from page 2) Recently, I had a check in the drawer of my desk, and when I left for work, I locked the door. When I returned later that afternoon, not only was my door unlocked, it was ajar! Need I mention that my check was gone? Fortunately, this has been the only time something has been missing, but if things continue the way they are, what is to pre vent its happening again? What can we do to protect our selves from this situation? Must we quit our jobs or cut our labs so we can be present when our rooms are cleaned ? This is a serious problem which needs to be called to the attention of the university. For the good of all concerned, I hope something will be done immediately! Sincerely yours, Gene Gatlin (Suggestion: If you haven't done so, suggest you politely request your janitorial crew to lock your door after they clean up. It usually works.-Ed.)
