The White team was ] much superior to the Red, in spite of the fact that the Red team had the best reserves. Jack Hall, the transfer from Georgia Tech, quarterbacked the Red team and looked good both running and pass ing. His best receiver was Julius Derrick, a sophomore, who is a good bet to see a lot of action next year. The White team got the kickoff, but Carrol McClain intercepted it shortly. The Reds were not able to gain enough for a first down and Jack Hall punted. The ball I was downed on the White 14. From j here on out the story is a play-by- I play description. Twenty Students Take Law School Admission Tests Twenty students took the uni rersity law school admission test n February, Dean Samuel L. ?rince announced. The test was conducted by Dr. William C. McCall, a representa ;ive of the educational testing tervice of Princeton University. rhe test is given four times an iually. Dean Prince notes that it is nteresting to n6te how the later ;uccess of a student of law com pares with his rating on the Law Admission Test. The law depart nent knows approximately what .o expect of the student by study ing his test and comparing it with Lhe student's work, Dean Prince said. The tests aid the law raculty in their personal guidance program. The next test will be held April 23. Applications must be received by Princeton at least 10 days be rore this time. Meet P. Doing the hurdling for the 3irdmen will be Don Whetstone n the lowvs and Jack Martin in the lighs. Gene Berry will be a key figure n South Carolina's points race. Ie will broad jump, throw the avelin, and possibly do some high umping for the Gamecocks. Jack Martin will be South Caro in's bid for first place in the uigh jump. Joe Silas will throw the discus ~or the Gamecocks and should take ~irst place without too much dif iculty. Ronnie Hicks, Joe Silas, and Ken Williams will complete South larolina's entries in the shot put. Williams will also throw the avelin. The mile relay team, in which south Carolina has always been trong, will probably be composed >f Sonny Wilcher, Don Whetstone, rommy Woodlee, and either Larry atrick or Fred Roberts.
