The only returning pitcher is Otis Rawls who is described by Petoskey as "looking much better than last year." Rawls won only one game last year but the season's record was only six wins. Among them are Hey ward and Howard Tunstall, twins from Darlington, who are showing up well at such an early date. The rest of the returning letter men are scattered about the in field. Catcher Fred Duckett, Johnny Stokes, Billy Stephens and Walt Shea are back for another try. Stokes is having quite a battle to hold his second base slot. At present there are eight men fight ing for the keystone job. Billy Stephens is at third and Walt Shea is back at first. Shortstop is at present divided by four men. Tom Hofferth is ex pected to add to this list when he finishes basketball. Emmett Dietz and Bobby Draw dy, along with Artie Knight, are battling for Duckett's catching chores. Petoskey declined to comment on his team after such a short work ing time. He did state that he felt the team wnlai he strengthened with the addition of Al Spotts later in the season. He named all three of the men in question. Alvin J. Wall, Thomas McCaffrey, i George Trotter and Pete Edwards also had the correct answers along with Rondel Tarte, William Brag den, Frank Loveless, Carl Langley, Don Miller and Bill Wilkinson. This week's question is about baseball-two of its immortals. We want the names of the two men most recently elected to the base ball Hall of Fame. One played for the Detroit Tigers and led the American League in hitting four times between 1921 and 1927. The other, known as "Big Poison," led the National league three times, in 1927, 1934, 1936. He was a Pitts burgh outfielder. Just the names of these two is enough for two passes provided your answer is the first one that we receive. Send your entries to Gamecock Sports, Box 79, Campus.
