Phi Kappa Sigma is planning a party in the Jefferson Ho tel, in honor of its new initiates and pledges. SIMS 3rd west was at it again Tuesday night. And pledges, it seems they were celebrating NANCY HALE'S birthday. MOPPY SATTERFIELD'S birthday was the occasion for a party at JEANNE TURNER'S home at Lake Murray. RUDY TIHIGPEN did Charleston up brown on his week Sigma Nu and dates partied at Smallwood Friday night. Phi Sigma Kappa and dates had a big party last night in the Rainbow Room. Compass and Chart is planning a party for this Saturday night. The fraternities and sororities were well represented at the dances this weekend. The frat's went to Columbia Co~IIege. Ann Wilson, Coker Alum, has received a diamond from Joe Pittman, Pi Kappa Phi. Sidney Floyd, Pi Kappa Phi has received his orders to report for induction on March 18. At tending the dance Saturday night at Columbia College were Pi Kappa Phi's Hank Fulmer, "Sugar"' Chile and Lanny Shay. Sheriff Dieter and Marion Harrison journeyed down to the Isle of Palms Sunday. Some isle, huh, boys ? The KA's whooped it up at the Rathskeller last Friday night. Some whooping, was done! Louis Howell, KA, escorted Ann McGraw who was visiting Pat Patrick, Chi 0, to a party at Claire Towers Saturday night. Bobby Rogers, KA, was elected head of the Athletic Interfraternity Council. Bill Fairey and Bobby Rogers, KA's are going to Furman this weekend. Bill Penn and Bill Rowe, KA's, spent part of the weekend in Camden.
