Guess thb will e a big turnout since a special invitation to the DELTA SIG'S has been issued. JOYCE VAN KEUREN, CHI OMEGA ALUM, was married to FRANKLIN FLOYD, SIGMA NU last night. Phi Kappa Sigma is planning a party in the Jefferson Ho tel, in honor of its new initiates and pledges. SIMS 3rd west was at it again Tuesday night. And pledges, it seems they were celebrating NANCY HALE'S birthday. MOPPY SATTERFIELD'S birthday was the occasion for a party at JEANNE TURNER'S home at Lake Murray. Bill Melton must have had a gay old time at the Norris Pig dinner, annual feast of Phi Gamma Delta at Georgia Tech last weekend. Seen at the Lambda Chi party were: Karen Nyquist Pi Phi, Billy Richardson, Mickey Rush, Al Bundy, Hulda Coch ran, Bernard Dessenburg, Winkle Mosely, Tri Delt; Ed Wil son, Becky Lynch, Jim McGrew, Sylvia Berry, Jim Hinson, Suzanne Moye, Pi Phi; Lamar Smith, Carolyn Busbee, Chi 0; and Bob Carpenter. RUDY TIHIGPEN did Charleston up brown on his week Sigma Nu and dates partied at Smallwood Friday night. Phi Sigma Kappa and dates had a big party last night in the Rainbow Room. Compass and Chart is planning a party for this Saturday night. The fraternities and sororities were well represented at the dances this weekend. The frat's went to Columbia Co~IIege. DZ's Katie Conway, Ellen Conor, Sara Thevenot went dTwn to the Citadel. Martha Harrelson went to Wake Forest SJFgINE Berios gave Roberta Wengrow a shower in SinMDormitory on Tuesday. Ann Wilson, Coker Alum, has received a diamond from Joe Pittman, Pi Kappa Phi. Sidney Floyd, Pi Kappa Phi has received his orders to report for induction on March 18. At tending the dance Saturday night at Columbia College were Pi Kappa Phi's Hank Fulmer, "Sugar"' Chile and Lanny Shay. Sheriff Dieter and Marion Harrison journeyed down to the Isle of Palms Sunday. Some isle, huh, boys ? The KA's whooped it up at the Rathskeller last Friday night. Some whooping, was done! Louis Howell, KA, escorted Ann McGraw who was visiting Pat Patrick, Chi 0, to a party at Claire Towers Saturday night. Bobby Rogers, KA, was elected head of the Athletic Interfraternity Council. Bill Fairey and Bobby Rogers, KA's are going to Furman this weekend. Bill Penn and Bill Rowe, KA's, spent part of the weekend in Camden. During the intermission there will be a cocktail party at the Varsity Grill. The officers and their dates are: Karl Smith, archon, with Mrs. Karl Smith; Lightsey Murray, treas urer, with Miss Ruby Lee Ward; Gene Woodward, secretary, with Miss Mary Berry; John McInnes, historian, with Miss Martha Wood all; Grady Faircloth, chaplain, with Miss Anne Howerton; and Joe C. Pittnman, warden, with Miss Anne Wilzzn. Following the dance the fra ternity will go to Myrtle Beach for a house party over the holidays, Lambda Chi Alpha Has Celebration For Best Pledge Lambda Chi Alpha, social fra ternity, held a party at the Jeffer son Rathskellar Saturday night. Tommy Pollard was presented with a key for being the most valuable pledge.
