Jez' "The trouble with being best man at a wedding is that you never have a chance to prove it." June: "I'm the Miss in Missis sippi." Joan: "I'm the Sin in Cincin nati." Jean: "I'm from Astoria." She started to speak, my captured heart warmed, Her voice was like thrushes that chirp; So I breathlessly waited as her pearly lips formed A good, healthy, old-fashioned burp!! "Well, my boy," said the new minister to the three-year-old, "What did you get for your birth day?" "Aw, I got a little red chair," said the kid, "but it ain't much good. It's got a hole in the bottom of it." He: "What would you say if I stole a kiss?" She: "What would you say to a guy who had a chance to swipe an automobile and only took the wind shield?" "Abie, how did mamma find out you didn't take your bath?'t "I forgot to wet the soap." "A dancer in a new show is hav ing her body coated with white paint. It's a very clever novelty." "Won't the police arrest her for indecency?" "Not until the novelty wears off." "Look at the geese in the sky." "You mean airplanes. They're not geese." "I say they're geese." "And I say they're airplanes." "They're geese." "ThAy're airpla - oops - you're right, they're geesel" We wonder - if all horses say "Neigh," where in the world do little horses come from.
