. . . a spoke a week . . By LAURIE MAY HERBERT Well, as spring comes too close to our dear campus, wit this "springy" weather, we find that new' is scarce, an actual activity is even scarcer. But here goes, such as it ma seem. PINS, ENGAGEMENT RINGS, AND WEDDIN BANDS have hit the headlines, per usual, with Ken Lelano chairman of the honor board, and Jo Anne Coleman of LalI City, a teacher at Kingstree, No. 1 on the list. Also "Weezie Newman, Kappa Delta, has a Citadel miniature from B3 Turner, a lieutenant at The Citadel, from Columbia. 0 Dorothy Coe, Delta Zeta, and Tally Kelly, member of Delt Sigma Pi, both of Columbia, were married Dec. 30 (1949 last 'year). Jean Sokol of Charleston, has accepted the claQ ring of Sam Sorota, Phi Epsilon Pi. Jean is the "Sweetheaj of Phi Epsilon Pi." Also Stan Pearlman, of Phi Epsilon P has been going with Miss Sarah Karesh, of Charleston, an rumors have it that they, too, are to be engaged soon.
