The weather may be as change able as a chameleon, but it can't stop the good times. It's Priday now and almost the end of another eventful Week. Let's remember the fun and take a few glances into future plans. TRAVELING MEN-AND GIRLS KA's Jimmy Dye and Hacky Walker joined Betty Ruth Stephens, ADPi, in a trip to the home of "Toogie" Harris In Lamar to celebrate "Toogie's" birthday last Sunday. Sara Sneider, EAPhi, visited her husband, Gill, at Duke University over the weekend. Delta Tau's Florence Kot telman, Miriam Goldstein and Rachel Naimark went to Chapel Hill recently for an AEPi houseparty. Banks Scar borough, Bob Westerfield and Ken Masters, Lambda Chi's, spent last weekend at Garden City and acquired a slight pre-season burn. Quite a number of Carolina students en joyed the polo matches at Camden Sunday. Jay Bardin, Jerry Drennan, Reese Daniel, Herman Lesslie, and Sam McKittrick, Pi Kappa Phi's, attended Winthrop's Mid Winters Saturday night. BIG ALARM If the styles keep developing the "hour glass" figure, what are all the girls who have "alarm clock" figures go ing to do? INITIATIONS Tri Delt's held initiation Thursday night for 10 pledges. The list read: Betty Blackmon, Harriett Barnwell, Betsy Blondon, Lib Usher, Annette Jenerette, Mary Parker, Ann Porcher Zeigler, Felicia Howell, Julie Simpson and Mary Louise Gaillard. Afterward, the chapter actives and new members celebrated with a banquet at the Market Res taurant. Renee Berlinsky was initiated into the Delta Tau sorority recently. "Goop" Fishbourne and Gene Fuller became full-fledged Sigma Nu's not long ago. Hugh Robinson took his place as a pledge in the fraternity. On March 10, Kappa Delta's will initiate the following girls: Carolyn Bynum, Elizabeth Childs, Ann Craig, Irene Herty, Nancy McEachern, Mary June Niggle, Sally Robert-1 son, Jean'Simpson and Betsy Sipple. JNCIDENTALLY "When I get down in the dumps," the brunette said, "I always buy a new hat." Said -the blonde, "I always wondered where you picked up your hats." DIAMONDS Two Chi Omega's have been proudly displaying-new en gqgement rings during the past week. Becky Melton's is from Duncan Heron, Kappa Sig, and Flora McKnight'frm Will Irick of Elloree. Kappa Pi Art fraternity held initiation Tuesday night followed by a reception in Sims' music room. Deans and honorary members of the chapter were present. Lambda Chi's and dates held a cabaret jaunt at Arsenal Hill last Thursday night to the music of Frank Bolick and his orchestra. Special entertainment was provided by a Scottish singer, who sang a medley of her native songs, and a magician. KA's enjoyed a blue jean party at Heise's Pond Wednesday night from 8 to 1. Kappa Sig's held their monthly supper the same night at the Market Restaurant. SAE's are plan ning a banquet for next Tuesday night. Several girls from Sims Second East gave a birthday supper for "Toogie" -Harris and Betsy Dickerson at the Ship Sunday.
