On Sunday the actives, pledges and initiates will go to church in a group. The Chi O's have decided to serve punch, or something to that effect instead of coffee at their drop-ins on Sunday af *ternoon on account of it goes much better with hot weather. Pan Hellenic is again sponsoring the Annual Red Cross drive at the theaters in Columbia. Each sorority has taken the responsibility of a theater. The KD's are initiating Renee Goyette, Lillian Love, Jean Wallace, Ethel McCants, Bart McCormick, Beverly Wood, Adele Bowman, Mary Lou Kirkland, Laura Speed, Sarah Rodgers, Marty Hagood, Sidney Jones, and Carolina Sligh. Kappa Sigs are winding up rush week season by having a party out at "Stooge" Whaley's. Its going to be an informal wide open house. Monday night is going to be "hell night" for pledges Sid Wise, Gordon Shumaker, Bobby Wicham, Henry Hearse, Kermit Albertson. It will most likely live up to its nanue too. A TO'S are having a party Friday night. The boys are hop ing it won't rain. Sigma Nu's gave a smoker Thursday night. They are also making plans for a big banquet and many parties at a fu ture date. SAE's had a smoker out at Bob Sumwalt's Wednesday night and are going to give a groovy rush party Saturday night and are going to give a groovy night to end the rush season. A total of 75 points are needed for a student to qualify for mem bership; 25 of these must be In backstage work, and the other 25 in either acting or backstage work. Points are listed here: Acting-Three-act plays: major role, 1 to 15 points; minor role. 1 to 10 points. One-act plays: major role, 1 to 10 points; minor role, 1 to 5 points. Prompting-Three-act play: 1 to 10 points; one-act play. 1 to 5 points. Each play requires one prompter The prompter should attend re hearsals from the fourth, rehearsal. and follow each line of the play. Make-Ult-Alpha Psi points are given according to time given. Stage make-up is required for all plays. Make-up is an art in Itself and requires training which will he given to those who are interested. Propertie.-Points given accord ing to time given. Some provs, other than those supplied by actors, are used in each play.
