Let's begin now without an other moments hesitation and make a greater Carolina a thrilling re ality. (Signed) ROY BASS. Dreyfuss Field continued from page 1 he is being roasted on many spits by the Carolina students. This is the first venture of the University to put baseball on a big-time scale, and it it suc ceeds, the public will witness many more contests under lights with their opponents. But be fore this can be ac' omplished, every student and, in fact, every body has to have a hand in it, and in making it one of the big gest things ever seen here. Clubs Evenly Paired The opposing clubs are well matched, and a very good ball game is in prospect. They are matched in almost every depart ment. The Birds' edge in man p)ower, because of the Naval Unit, will be offset by the Tigers' ex perience in games played this season. Coaches Johnny McMil Ian of the G'amecock{s andl Wal ter' Cox of the Tigers will not venture any guess as to the out come, but the Birds themselves are confident that the lads from Clemson c'an andl will be beaten. The sideline attractions of the cheer leaders, Al Schacht in the person of Rihett Jackson, the Kappa Delta Corsettes, the Navy b)and and all the school notables wvill rival the baseball game. But the main idea is that every one that is able to be on hand to witness the unveilIng of the b)all team, to give them some decent supplort, to raise the flag ging school spirit, and above all to "BEAT HELL OUT 01" CLEM SON."
