ODK T H ol acroi3 ih/e CAMPUS By FRANCES PADGETT roR LADIES ONLY .. Something of the utmost importance has come to our attention .. . Now this is a secret so don't dare let the hoys know .. . Sadie Hawkins Day is November 6th . . . You know what that means, so girls start lo'oking for someone you can call the apple of your eye ... better start planning your procedure immediately .. . Of course this is right. far in the future but we just want to be sure that all the CO-Eds will have plenty of time to get ready. KAPPA SIGMA FORMAL. .. will be at the Jefferson Hotel tonight at the stroke of nine. Clarence Brazzell and his orchestra will furnish the music. Preceding the dance the Kappa Sig's will have a banquet which is to be at the Jefferson also. All in all it will be a grand and glorious night for the Kappa Sig's and their guests. OBSERVATION ON LIFE... * So many boys say, "You'll have to look a long way before you find another man like me." Who in the world would want another man just like him??? ODK... banquet will he tonight at S P. M. The banquet will be at the Jefferson Hotel. Members and their dates will attend the Kappa Sigma dance following the banquet. Honored guests at the banquet will be A. C. Flora, Sr. and Johnnie Dieter. Mr. Flora is an honorary member of the organization and Dieter is a newly elected member. THE GERMAN .. . will be danced next Thursday in the Armory. The hours of the dance will he 9 'til 1. Bob Allen and his orchestra will play. Bob Allen is the bjg name band we have been promising you. The German Club was lucky to get him. He played for the last June Ball. The dance will be real good so be sure to take it in. WE HAVE HEARD .. . it said lately that this column should include a hit of nice juier gossip. This has been done before and met with disastrous results. Since .that time it has been the policy of this column not, to indulge in gossip. In the first place it is rather high sehoolish and in the second place that sort of thing always suc ceeds in getting people in trouble and t nly ends ip by hurting someone. Gossip can never he handled tactfully and even Wal ter Winchell, who is the king of this field. has to take a body Mtrd with him wherever he goes. Why would you wish this fate off on the poor society editor? )on't you hear enough meowing from those around you without having it in print? Of course not all gossip is malicious but we feel that all of the students know pretty well all that is going on that they want to know. So why not be content and just let this column keep you informed about what is happening socially on the campus? PEOPLE .. . still go off on the weekend. This is a continuiouis phase of col lege life. Without it this column would he entirely sunk! Lib Ribelin wvent honie . . . .home is Greenwood . . . by the w'ay.
