C. to sing for their lunch, and break bread with the cuties. . . . and to inspect the class rooms. . . . by the way, the white collar boys have plush chairs in their class rooms. . . . relaxation is the first aim, second, third and last. Scholarship Loan Fund Has $415.70 The Central Scholarship Fund of Alpha Kappa Gamma has a revolv ing capital of $415.70 from which $363 is at present in loans. The sum will be increased by the sophomore Y fashion show, March :35. This loan fnnd, established in 1939 by Alpha Kappa Gamma, is to help needy students remain at Car olina who could not do so other wise. It was originated by the stu dents, and is entirely administered for by them. Any student may apply for a, loan. Those receiving them promise to repay wvithin two years after gradlu ation. No interest is charged. Nine loans varying from $17 to $100 have been made in three years. The model to represent the group in the sophomore fashion show will also be elected. This meting is the result of the recent approval by the administra tion for a non-sorority organization the camlpus. A similar meeting was held last Friday afternoon for the election of the six non-sorority candidates for the Garnet and Black Beauty Pag cant. However, only about 20 were present. By the organization of non-soror ity girls, it is hoped that when their elections are held in the future they need not be under the supervision of the Co-ed Association and that bet ter means of group contact will be adopted. The Carolina YWCA will act as hostess to the annual area meeting of the National Y. The meeting will be at Washington Street Methodist Church tomorrow, March 22, from 9:30-5::30. About :10 delegates from colleges over the state are expected to attend. Commerce Frat To Give Formal Dance At Columbia Hotel Delta Sigma Pi, the University commerce fraternity, will dance its formal ball Friday night, April 4, in the Columbia hotel from 9-1 o'clock. Buster Spann and his or chestra will furnish the music for the occasion, which is in celebration of the twelfth anniversary. Preceding the ball, there will be the semi-annual banquet. This dance will be the last high-light before the spring holidays. Beta Gaiia chapter of Delta Sigma Pi was installed at the Uni versity April 1:, 1929. The inter national organization was founded at New York University, school of Commerce, Nov. 7, 1907. This is a professional fraternity founded to promote the study of cominerce and business administra tion.
