Another Carolina undergraduate, Ed McGrath, is playing a supporting role in the same play. Written by Thomas Buchanan in 1909, the play was meant to be a ve hicle for the vivacious Grace George, then the actress idol of New York and Chicago. The play is not a dated comedy, however, and has been brought up to date for the two stars, by Glick. Hester will play opposite Mabel Kalmakoff, veteran leading lady, and will be playing his first sophisticated comedy role of the year. Hester's last performance was that of the drunkard in the play by that name. --n. U. 0.
