Press Group Meets Here South Carolina's Press Association will hold its annual meeting at the University on Friday, January 21. The morning session will begin at 10 o'clock with the afternoon meeting scheduled for 2:30. R. H. Scott, vice president of East man, Scott and company, of Atlanta, will be on the program at the morn ing session to lead in a discussion of the subject: "How to Secure More Foreign Advertising for Newspapers." lie will be followed by R. E. Brad ham of The News and Courier, who will discuss the subject from the stand point of the daily newspaper and F. \V. Sossaman of the GafTney Ledg er, who 'ill discuss it from the stand point of the weekly newspaper. 'i'he subject, "Reiationshitp Between the Legislature and the Press," will be discussed by V. \V. Smoak, editor of the WValterboro Press and Stand arl, and by Representative John V. Crews of Richland county. A. L. M. Wiggins of Ilartsville, president of the South Carolina Fed eration of Commerce, Agriculture and Inlustry, will discuss the objects and purposes of that organization. Memorials will h' rrea,d to eight for ner members of the association who died during the year. At the annual business session, of ficers will be elected for the ensuing year. The meeting will come to a close with a (linner at 6:30 tendered by The State and \Villiott F.lIiott, president of The Statc Company at the Colum bia Hotel, at which Governor Clyde R.
