Z. T. A. FRAT INSTALLED HERE BETA OMICRON CHAPTER Grand President Conducts Cere. monies-Three Zetas From Duke Univ. Here The installation of Beta Omicron chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha, national woman's fraternity, formerly the Zeta Phi club; took place Monday ; Tuesday and Wednesday of last week. Monday afternoon the installing of ficers of Zeta Tau Alpha, Mrs. How ard Williamson Gardner of Beattmont, Texas, and Miss Margaret Glasgow, a Z. T . A. from Hollins College and a graduate student at the University, were introduced at a delightful tea at the fraternity house. The rooms were beautifully decorated with white carna tions and ageratum. More than 250 guests called durirg the afternoon. In the receividg, line were: Miss Mayre Wall, president of the local chapter, Mrs. Williamson Gardner, Miss Margaret Glasgow, Miss Eliza beth Jones; president of Delta Delta Delta, Miss Harriet Baker, president of Alpha Delta Pi, Miss Eloise Shep herd, president of Delta Zeta, Mrs. Charles F. Mercer and Mrs. D. H. Hansen. The pledges and promises of the sorority served punch, sandwiches, candy, mints, and maccaroons. Pledge services took place Monday night. Wednesday a luncheon was given at the Rose May tea room in honor of the uests and visiting Zetas from Duke University. Misses Sarah Stewart, Mary Purdy and Helen Taylor. The installation concluded with a banquet Wednesday night at Forest L.ake club, Those initated were: Misses Mayre Wall, president .
