The game was an easy victory for the seniors over their junior fighters, the score being 4-0. The set ting was a winter forest,.carrying out Christmas thought in its decorations. In addditional to the delight of real Santa Cluas who gave out the fav6Cs, was added a glowing Christmas tree. Two huge crystal balls. from which punch was served, added to the unique ness and beauty of the scene. Miss Frances Keith served at the punch bowls. The favors were odd cigaret lighters for the men, and address books for tlh! girls. About a hundred and ten couples were present. Music was furnished by the Game Gamecock orchestra. The chaperoncs were Dr. and Mrs. Douglas, dean and Mrs. Baker, Dean Irene Dillard, and the faculty. With Tea Last Week Guests Greted at Door by Miss Mayre Wall and Mrs. Tompkins Zeta Phi club entertained last week with a tea from 4:30 to 6 at the home of Miss Elizabeth Tomkins on Greene street. The guests were greeted at the door by Miss Mayre Wall and Mrs. T. W. Tompkins, from whence they went' to the receiving line which was composed of all the members of the club except two. Miss Mildred Poat invited them into the dining room where Misses Eliz abeth Tompkins and Stela Blake served, assisted b.y a group of freshmen. The dining room was lighted by eight blue --adies wich burned from silver candle sticks. The Zable was centered with a handsome lace and lineAs scarf on which sat a huge bowl of white rose buds. Cakes and mints further carried out the iub colors, blue and white. Miss Stella Blake presided over the punch !owl. The living room was also lighted with candles and carried out the color scheme in its blue appointmeits. More than a hundred guests called during the after noon. The members of the club are: Misses Mayre Wail, 'jresident; Gertrude Rigby, vice-presidenti; Marie Peacock, secre tary ;Elizabeth Tompkins, treasurer; Louise McIntosh, Kathryne Powell, Stel la Blake and Ruth Withers. The first game of the series was be tween the seniors and sophomores; the seniors won, the score being 2 to 0. The second match, between the jun iors and freshmen, was was by the jun iors, with a score of 6 to 0. In the next game the sophomores beat the fresh men with a score of 5 to 0. The fourth game, a hard-fought struggle between the juniors and sophomores, was a tie, neither team being able to get near the opposing team's goal. In the fifth game., the seniors again triumphed, 2 to 0. The final match was played Wednes day afternoon betwe2n the seniors an I juniors. T his was another victory fo: the seniors, which gave them the un disputed championship, as well as en titling then to the silver loving cup which remains in the living room of th! Woman's building.
