Preparing for State Track Meet Next Monih. The interest in the apprnacling State college track meet is reaching a higher pitch each day. Davis field is the center of wild confusion, the crack of the baseball bat being mingled with the thump of the dis tant, falling hammer and discus. Men ten or more feet in the air doing pole vaulting stunts and keen legged racing lads are characteristic sights of this busy scene. It is presumed that other athletic fields are presenting such exciting scenes. The track meet that will be held on Davis field on the 27th of April is the cause of all this turmoil. It is breathing the victorious spirit into the contestants from each and every college. This meet will mean much to Car olina, whether she wins or not. It will mean that through her broad interests in athletics other colleges are brought into intimate relation ship through her influence. Every student wishes for the success of this undertakin.
