The handwriting ( was identified as that of a prominent , colored minister of Charlotte, aud other circumstances traced the reply ( to this colored man. The reply was a , most scurrilous one, and among other things he fait; that all negroes who voted the Democratic ticket should be lynched by the negroes. This colored mini?tcr is one of "'the educated", and his conduct seems to refute the idea that when the ne^ro is educated he can be trusted withpawc-r. A correspondent tor the News and ?
